We are excited to announce that Lego have agreed in partnership with Warner Bros to develop build-and-play construction sets based on The Lord Of The Rings trilogy and the two films based on The Hobbit in 2012.

The Lord Of The Rings Lego sets will launch in June 2012 while The Hobbit sets will be released in time for the film The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey which is scheduled to premier December 14, 2012 and in 2013 for the film The Hobbit: There and Back Again.

These films give life to amazing worlds and minifigures and deliver an imaginative play experience and we can’t wait!

Information about the sets and collectible minifigures from both collections will be unveiled at a later date at TheLordoftheRings.LEGO.com.
